I Heart Myself

Have you ever bought something in a rush without trying it on first? I'm sure a few of you have. Well, thats the story of this cropped sweater I'm wearing. After a few hours of walking around in the Bangkok heat, I came across this sweater in a tiny store. I was pretty exhausted by then and didn't bother to try it on or even take a proper look at it. Surprisingly, the size was perfect but the bigger surprise was what was written on the back. It had "I LOVE" on the front so it was a bit naive of me to assume that the back would be empty. So instead of typical t-shirts with "I Love New York" or something similar, it had "I Love Myself". Obviously I do love myself or I think I do but to wear it on a sweater, NOT COOL.

HELP WANTED!!

Like I said in my previous post, I'm not really a lucky person when it comes to contests becuase I don't usually win.. thats why I don't bother entering. But for the past weeks, I have no idea what came up but I've just been entering in every competition that comes my way. So when I heard about this Photobooth Contest that Solestruck was having on their Facebook page, I couldn't resit.
The winner gets to pick a shoe worth $200 from their online store.
Who wouldn't, right??

They have this app called Photobooth and every 2 weeks, the contest is held. The first week is for uploading your entry and the second week is the voting week.
The rules are pretty simple. The entry with the most votes win.

So I would like to ask all you lovelies to spare a few minutes of your time and vote for me. You can vote once per day. This would mean so much to me and I would really appreciate every single vote.
Since my birthday is in less than 2 weeks, this would be the best gift ever!

The name of my picture is "JC This or JC That" and you can VOTE HERE

Beauty of Agony

Stayed at home for few days so it was nice to finally get out today. Spring is finally here and though its still a bit chilly, its a nice feeling to know that there are warmer days ahead.
Our mid-semester break started yesterday so decided to go shopping. The plan was to buy a birthday gift for my good friend and just look around. I did buy the gift so I accomplished what I wanted to do. I guess the "looking around" part was pretty good because for $30, I ended up getting 2 new sweaters, a dress and a hat. I will show them off in the coming week since I will have plenty of time :)

The clutch is "Agony", a gift from Jessica Buurman. I fell in love with it the first time I layed my eyeys on it. Forgot to take pictures of it last time when I received it along with the shoes. I was loving the attention the clutch was getting and even got compliments from random people.

Happy Weekend to all you lovelies!!

My New Lady Love

Its been couple of days since I've haven't been feeling well and have spent most of my time in my bed watching videos on youtube. Because I haven't been able to get out of bed, I don't have an outfit post. While I was in my bed, browsing through the net, I came across this.
Kristen Stewart on the cover of W Magazine September 2011 Issue. I was fff-ying shocked because she looks so darn beautiful. I'm not a biggest fan of her but after looking through these pictures, I've fallen head over heels.
I'm sorry Mila "sexy eyes" Kunis, I think I just got myself a new lady love :)

What do you lovelies think?

I received these shoes from Jessica Buurman on friday and I absolutely love it. I can't wait to wear them especially the "Killer" flats which is inspired by Christian Louboutin Rollerspike. The feel of it and the quality of the shoe is awesome. It is also very reasonably priced.

The first shoe "Iuxx" which is inspired by Acne is on Sale. You lovelies should definitely visit her website for more runway inspired shoes and accessories. If you can handle high heels and love bright colors, check out the pumps (inspired by YSL and Christian Louboutin) in the new arrival section. Mood On

Yesterday was just awesome. Even though I wore my Oxfords, I didn't slip even once. I've had a bad experience with these shoes. I paid quite a bit for them but they have no grip AT All. I wore these a few months ago with a nice lace dress and to make a long story short, I slipped and almost showed my underwear to some random passerby. But since yesterday was friday, the grip on the shoes were more reliable. I also received the most awesome shoe from Jessica Buurman and I can't wait to show it.

My classes ended over an hour and an half earlier than usual. I didn't do much with the extra time but it did make me happy. Guess it was an extra 1.5 hours of Facebook in my day... Everything was going just the way I wanted. Got home (drank a delicious cup of hot chocolate on the way) and received my shoes. You should have seen how I ripped open that parcel, it felt goooood :)

Faux Fur or Pet Possum??

I'm not that type of a person who is lucky when it comes to competitions. So I don't bother entering because I know I won't win. But lately, I have been entering every competition that comes my way. Maybe its becuase the prizes for most of these competitions are Jeffrey Campbell shoes...
But who won't take their chances when it comes to Jeffrey Campbell shoes. I know I won't but I just WISH I win it all. I already have my eye on some of his shoes.
The first draw for the competition is tomorrow.. Fingers crossed :)

Anyway, yesterday was one of those days where the alarm tends to be softer than usual. Got up a bit late so didn't have time to be picky with my clothes. Grabbed the first thing I saw when I opened my cupboard. I was pretty happy with the result because I was comfy and well integrated for a speed-walk.
I had to carry my faux-fur vest incase it got cold during the evening which it did (Good call on that). But during the day, it looked like I was carrying a dead animal!

One in a million!

Its safe to say that I'm wearing a collection of a few of my best finds. The jacket was bought a few weeks ago and I even wore it in a previous post here. I have been looking for a leather jacket for quite sometime. On my last shopping trip, I saw one in Valley Girl and even requested them to put it on hold for me. But then I found this awesome one in Dotti for less than a quarter of the orginal price. Not tooo shabby!! It was THE only piece, and it was in MY size. Guess it was just meant to be mine.
On the other hand, there are some items that I just cannot find in my size no matter how many shops (online as well) I visit. Like a nice pair of high-waisted leather shorts.

Got the top in Bangkok on my way here in July and I paid about $3 for it. It was hanging on a rack and I couldnt believe that no one took it. I grabbed it the minute I saw it and went straight to the counter. Didn't check the size, didn't try it on!

Tell me about your lucky finds, one that was "meant to be".
