Two Of The Same Kind

Yet another outfit post with my flats and I'm starting to get used to it. That's one thing I have noticed about myself... whether its outfits, food or even places, I tend to stick to one once I start with either something new or different. What I mean is that in this case, I usually wear heels but once I start wearing flats, I tend to stick to it for a very long time. I'm not sure if this makes any sense to you lovelies.

Anyway, this outfit may look like one piece but it's actually two. This skirt I absolutely love that's why I have two of these in different colors. I don't know why I do that but when I find something that I love, I usually end up getting two or three of the same thing in different colors. Even with the bralet top I'm wearing here, I have another one in different prints but I have never worn this before. I guess it's because of the frills which I hate and was thinking of getting rid off. But it actually looks nice with the skirt here so maybe I should reconsider...

My "Bruce Lee" Shoes

This is probably one of my first outfit post wearing flats since I've been home. Its funny how I always wore flats when I was down in Australia because firstly, I had to do a lot of walking and secondly, I didn't want to look taller than my boy. But here back home, its complete different story. I can't wear flats and usually end up wearing heels because of my 12 year old baby sister who seems to be growing day by day and keeps reminding me of how short I am.

These shoes I'm wearing is one of the cheapest shoes I own but the most comfortable. I think I've been wearing it quite often around the house that its gotten a name from my uncles who calls it the "Bruce Lee" shoes :) What do you lovelies think?

Textile Museum Fashion Show 2012

Remember how I mentioned in my previous post about the four other designers that participated at the Textile Museum Fashion Show 2012.  These are some of the items from the other designers' collections that I really liked. My most favorite from these collections would be the outfit in the first picture. I love that outfit had a bohemian touch to it and I can see myself wear that in a regular basis. I also love the white dress in the third picture- love the prints that was used and the way the whole dress flows. I think what disappoint me a little about this dress was the big bow detail at the back of it.

Which one is your favorite?

SABAH Bhutan

Textile Museum Fashion Show 2012 was held a few days ago where I modeled for SABAH Bhutan's in-house designer Tshering Choden's collection. SABAH stands for SAARC Business Association for Home-based workers. Incase you lovelies are wondering what SABAH Bhutan is. It's an non-profit organization that fouces on strengthening the livelihood opportunities of home based workers, especially women, primarily through awareness and capacity building, enhances production techniques, intensive training and gaining a fair share of the mainstream market.

All in all it was a great show. Her designs were amazing- the different colors and patterns that were used. I loved the fact that you can wear these items in your daily wear. My favorite was of course the pieces I was wearing but other than that, I also loved all the jackets and the show stopper dress which is the one in the last picture.

Do let me know what you lovelies think and which piece was your favorite?

Stick To My Jeans

Lately I've been wearing a lot of jeans and vests.. that has been my go-to-outfit. I don't think I've made use of my jeans as much as I have in the last week. I guess because its gets really hot during the day but the cold chilly wind stops me from wearing shorts. And also, its so much easier to just slip into a pair of jeans and a vest and still look dressy. That's exactly what I did that day when I was running late... I added on the shrug since it was a bit chilly than usual and a hat to save myself from a bad hair day :)
