Vogue India September 2010

I am not sure if you have read/seen this issue of Vogue since its a bit old but I wanted to share this with you since this editorial 'Global Fusion' is amazing. I love everything about it- the bohemian vibe is electrifying. And of course, one of the main reasons for loving it so much is because this shoot was done in Bhutan. Even though, I believe that these pictures don’t do our country justice since its way beautiful than the picture. I am glad how something about our country is represented within the pictures.
I was so proud when I saw it first. Its funny the way my face lights up when I see something about Bhutan in the tv, books and even on the web. May be its because ever since I’ve been in Australia, every time I mention Bhutan from being asked where I was from, they have no idea where it is. I was even told if Bhutan was in Africa… which is really strange!!
