This is not my usual style post but I wanted to share with you lovelies some of the pictures taken during my trip to Taktsang Monastery also known as The Tiger's Nest. I went there with one of my bestest friends, my girlfriend from Fishing For Chips. That's her blog and you lovelies should definitely give it a look.
This monastery was first built in 1692 and it hangs on a cliff about 900 meters above the valley. It usually takes about 2 hours to reach the top but we took an extra hour and had a difficult time hiking up. It was funny how on the way up, people (by that I mean Bhutanese) mistook the two of us to be tourists can started greeting us in chinese. This was one of the toughest things the two of us have done but when we reached the top and got a closer view of the monastery, it was such a relief and felt so happy that we hadn't given up half way through (which we almost did). Anyway, enjoy my pictures and I hope all you lovelies have a wonderful rest of the week :)
