Full Out Pair

Something simple and casual. I love how a pair of shoe can change the look of the whole outfit. Ever since I got these from Jessica Buurman, I haven't stopped wearing them. I don't know what exactly it is about them that I love, this pair has to be the only pair that has so much going on. To think about it I guess that's exactly why I love it so much which is a bit weird because I don't usually like a pair that's so "full-out" (if you know what I mean). I decided to keep it simple with the outfit so that the shoe balances the whole look and it doesn't look too much. Do you lovelies think it worked?

Little Boyish

I wouldn't call myself a girly girl but at the same time, I'm not the type who likes dressing up a little boyish. Somehow even though I don't dress boyish seeing girls with a different sense in style than me makes me want to try something different. My baby sister on the other hand is completely different, she is a little tomboyish so I'm kinda lucky to have her closet for me to experiment different styles. Here I am wearing her one of her pants; what do you lovelies think?

Search Over

First of all, let me take a huge breathe... because I've just found the perfect pair of over-the-knee boots. I've been searching for one for a very long time and hadn't found any that ticks off everything I expect in a perfect pair. But thanks to Jessica Buurman, I'm excited to say that my search is finally over. These awesome pair ticks off all the list; comfort: yes, style: amazing, fitting: perfect, etc. I've always been very particular while looking for a pair of over-the-knee boots because usually it can been seen as "too sexy" but this pair I think is sexy in a classy way and that's what I like. :)

Start Of A New Year

I know I haven't blogged for quite sometime now but I wanted my first post of the year 2014 to be special. It's been almost three years since I started this blog and I've never done a post wearing my national dress. Some of you have requested me before but since I've been studying outside all my life, I don't know how to wear it. Yes! a little embarrassing to admit this since I am a Bhutanese but this is me trying. Anyway for those of you lovelies who have no idea where I'm from, here's a little info. I'm from Bhutan, a small yet beautiful country in the Himalayas. This is our national dress and it's called the Kira. This piece especially is one of my favorites because of the contrast in the colors and it's details in the pattern. I don't know much about the history and tradition since like I said before, I've never grown up here in Bhutan but if you have any question, leave them in the comment box and I'll try my best to answer as much as I can.

Even though a bit late, I want to wish all you beautiful people a HAPPY NEW YEAR. I hope this year brings each and every one of you full of love, happiness and success. In the coming year enjoy every single moment; the good, bad, beautiful, ugly, inspiring, the not-so-glamorous moments. And Thank GOD through it all. Also want to thank you for all the love and support you've shown me in the past years through this blog. I am very grateful for it all :)
