Shades Of Green

So I'm here in Bangkok. I was finally able to get some internet access and since I'm going to be here a little longer than planned, I thought might as well do a post. Its just been a few days since I've been here and I miss my boy already, I don't know how the next eight months are going pass by. He is my photographer too so now every time I think of taking pictures for a post, I miss him even more.

Anyway, I don't want to bore you lovelies with my sob stories. This dress I'm wearing is my first ever DIY project. It was a simple maxi dress which I decided to cut it off. Its not a really big project since all I did was just cut the bottom off. But I'm still a wee-bit excited because it came out much better than what I expected. I can't wait to do more DIY projects in the future.

Ice-cream and Beer

A quick post before I leave Australia. I finished Uni (kind of) and I am going home and this would be my last post in Australia. My flight is in a few hours so I thought I could fit one in. The pictures were taken a few days back in the Tasmanian Beer Fest. I don't like beer but decided to tag along with my friends and tried a few ciders, which weren't too bad.

I will not be posting for about a week as I'll be travelling with my family and will probably won't have internet access. Till then, take care and have a great weekend lovelies :)

Tunnel Of Sunshine

So yesterday was by far the worst day of my life. At first, someone got hold of my bank details and tried sending all my money overseas. The bank was able to stop the transactions which was good but I couldn't stop thinking "why me". Now, all my cards have been canceled and I have to go to the bank with my ID every time I need some cash. Then at night, when I logged on to my blog to do this post, my whole blog had been deleted. I was so shocked I could hardly breathe. I have never felt so hopeless when I thought about all the hard work that I had put into the blog. My boy however managed to get it fixed this morning and it was such a big relief.

Anyway, this pictures were taken a few days back when I had to go to Uni for the very last time to clear out some stuff from the lockers and return a few books. It was a sunny day but still a bit chilly (typical Hobart weather) so had to put on a sweater. Since there were not many students around, I could fit in a quick photo-shoot and it was a nice change of scene with the different background.

They Came In Pairs

These came in today in the mail and I thought I might show you lovelies my latest purchases from ASOS. There was a 50% off sale going on for 48hrs a few weeks ago and I decided to get these and managed to get both of them for less than $90. The first one is the Luckie Glitter Loafers by Dunes in bronze glitter. When I first saw this, I knew I had to get it. It kinda reminded me of the Miu Miu glitter penny loafers which costs about $440 so this was a good bargain.

The second one is the ASOS Pace Suede Double Strap Platforms in monochrome which is pretty awesome. I'm not really a big fan of high heel pumps, even though they do look freaking sexy. I tend to go for more closed up shoes like boots but this one I bought it anyway. The color wasn't my first choice, I actually wanted the multi but my boy told to me get this and I'm glad I did becuase it looks even more sexier in person.

This would be the first time I will be wearing gigantic heels (atleast for me) and hopefully won't wobble when I walk.

Nightwalking At Noon

With the majority of my belongings packed in cardboard boxes, I finally have time to do a post. The past few days has been giving me a headache and I am hoping that I get the packing done before the weekend. Its surprising how I have over 100 kgs of clothes/shoes to ship home and it takes quite a bit of effort to get them all into boxes.

I bought this skirt a few months ago but haven't worn it before because its transparent and have to wear something else inside. Its not very nice to put on extra layers as the skirt is really fitting, but guess its a small price to pay than to have a see-through skirt. This vintage shirt is my mom's and I found it when I was packing. I am not a huge vintage fan and this was not something I would wear on a regular basis. But since I had some time to experiment, I decided to try something out of my comfort zone. Its a little big for me and I really don't like the big shoulder pads but how pretty are the prints? That's what I fell in love with when I first saw the shirt.

You lovelies notice something new on my wrist? :)

Obsession Level 100

I have been meaning to put up this post day before when I was out of town over at a friend's place but something was wrong with her laptop and also blogger just stopped working. So as sad as I am right now for not being able to do a post for the past couple of days, this is my long awaited post.

Here is my final collection of Jeffrey Campbell shoes or as you might think, an obsession. My first purchase was the Lita in Black Leather and since then, I have been crazy for JCs. I think it is one of the few shoes that is worth the price. Each of these shoes has a story to it but I don't want to bore you lovelies by telling them. I love all of them and can't really choose my favorite. Most of the shoes are from Solestruck, the Everest from Revolve Clothing and the Lita Black from Jessica Buurman (but they don't have it in stock anymore). The Lita Taupe and Nightwalk are my birthday present from my boy but I had to wait two months for them and I finally got them a few weeks back. I love them all :)

Please tell me which one is your favorite pair?

Shiny Ring In Fancy Packaging

XNu4B6 on Make A Gif, Animated Gifs

This is the surprise from my boy. It was suppose to be my going away/ pre-christmas present but he decided to give it earlier. I was absolutely blown away when I got it since I thought it would be the 'Awkward Turtle' from Wongfu which I did receive the other day and it's adorable. This ring totally got me off-guard because the box was it came in was pretty big with fancy packaging. I loved the way it was packed, just the box itself... I didn't feel like opening it. He had also requested the store for a personal note which was so cute but I was so into the ring itself that I didn't notice it at first. He actually had to remind me saying there was note in the envelope, haha :)

So this was the surprise I was talking about in my previous post which kept me distracted during my exams. Right after I got this, I had to rush to Uni so I was a bit over excited during my exams.
But with such a beautiful ring, can you blame me for being distracted?

One Step Further

Finally I can say that I'm done with University. Three years and I'm done. I was waiting for this day to come since so long and I feel so free now. I had my last exams today which I hope went well. My boy decided to surpirse me with a going away/ pre-christmas gift in the morning which kinda distracted me during my exams because I blanked out the first 15 minutes and starting thinking about the gift.  I had to actually calm myself down and ask myself to breathe which was really weird.
Oh my gosh, I still don't believe that I've finally done and will take some time to sink in.

I still have  a few things to take care of before I leave so that should keep me busy for the next 2 weeks. One of those include shopping for gifts for my family, which is always fun. I guess graduating is a good reason to buy something nice for myself as well. :)

So any of you lovelies graduating anytime soon or have overcome an average sized obstacle?
